Is my computer Human: From Essay to Blog

Is my computer human? of course its not. if it was that it would look like you or me. But what does it even mean to be human and what make something human. I believe that to be human, you have to look, think and act like one. Take iRobot for instance. Remember the part when the crazy robot killed his old guy master and then runs from Will Smith? That was a good part. But really, when the robot Sonny asks why he has emotions and what not, he is questioning how human he is. He clearly isn't human but he thinks like one. So basically he's half human to an extent.
In class we read this short story Blood Music by Greg Bear. It had to be the freakiest story i've ever read. When i finished it i literally turned to my friend and say, "what the F%@$?!" The picture it puts in your mind is terrible. But basically in the end, this guy named Edward sprouts roots like a plant to the sink and the windows to get sun. This all has to do with this futuristic learning biochip that his friend injected into himself but its pretty confusing. Basically, he can think like a human, but he looks far from it. Thus, once again making this "thing" around half human.
Last we watched a movie called Blade Runner. Once again, probably the weirdest movie I've seen. If you hate clowns don't watch it. There was one scene when the girl put makeup on and hid among the other clowns. In my mind i was begging for the Bear Jew to come and just beat the shit out of her, but that was too much to ask for i guess. But in this movie are these humans that are manufactured but have to emotion. But one of these "replicants" has emotion. She looks human, and acts human.  So is she human? No way is she human? She wasn't even born naturally. So to me, that intently rules her out. In he end, the only way to be human is to be born from other humans.
- Btw, for all you people who think the Bear Jew is just a fictional character, you're wrong. He's Real...
